About Us
The CSI Student Branch of Rajagiri School of Engineering & Technology (RSET) was established in 2009 with 130 members. Today, the branch has grown to 320 members, all united by a shared objective: to instill professionalism in students of Computer Science and Information Technology. Our mission is to drive technological advancements in computer science, computer engineering, technology, and information processing.
The branch regularly organizes professional meetings, where members exchange views, share ideas, and stay updated on the latest trends. We have hosted various technical meetings, presentations, symposiums, competitions, and workshops on cutting-edge topics.

The CSI Student Branch of RSET organized an impactful talk session titled “Getting Noticed in a Competitive Market” on 30 January 2026 at the Multimedia Hall from 11:35AM to 12:30PM. The session featured Ashik Joy, Co-founder of Verbi and a leading professional in student-focused talent acceleration.

A 24-hour intensive hackathon centered on autonomous and agentic AI systems. The hackathon was held in partnership with Code Vipassana by Google and supported by Title Sponsor Voyon Folks, ensuring strong industry alignment, expert mentorship, and access to enterprise-grade tools and resources.

The event is a technical challenge in which participating teams receive questions through an interactive spinning wheel. Teams are required to solve the problems and submit their responses.

CSI RSET SB hosted the “Techmoji” on 28th September 2025, an engaging online tech Pictionary conducted through the Quizizz platform. The event was exclusively for first-year students, designed to spark curiosity and creativity while testing technical knowledge in a fun and interactive way.

As part of Confluence 2.0, the Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) in association with CSI organized Script to Screen: Filmmaking Workshop 2.0 on September 27, 2025. The session was held at Lecture Hall 2, Main Block, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

The CSI Student Branch of RSET hosted “Say Cheese!!! – A Campus Selfie Hunt” as part of Homecoming Week 3.0, on September 12, 2025, at the RSET campus. The event was conducted from 11:35 AM to 12:30 PM, bringing together students for a fun and interactive photography challenge.

Computer Society of India SB RSET is conducting Passion Unplugged, an interactive session featuring Mr. R Balagopal, RSET Media Team Lead. Open to all years and branches, the event helps students explore life beyond B.Tech. and align passion with profession.

The Computer Society of India(CSI) SB RSET is organizing Meme-o-Logic, an online meme-making competition for all S1 students. Participants will be given two interesting captions and are required to create two original memes (one per caption).

The CSI Student Branch of RSET hosted “Decode & Conquer – An Online Multi-Level Tech Puzzle” as part of Homecoming Week 3.0, on October 2, 2025. The event was conducted from 8:00 PM to 9:00 PM in an online mode, engaging students in an intellectually stimulating puzzle challenge.

As part of Abhiyanthriki 2025, the CSI SB RSET conducted a hands-on workshop titled Agents 101: Agentic AI & Machine Learning on October 15, 2025. The session was led by Mr. Alex V. Ajith, an AI Developer at PixDynamics and an alumnus of RSET.

The CSI Student Branch of Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) organized Triquest, a three-round technical challenge, on December 5, 2025, at the Photon Lab as part of its student engagement activities.

This insightful session aims to provide students with clearer future direction and a better understanding of how to approach internships effectively.

CSI RSET SB hosted “MindCraft: Architecting Agentic Intelligence”, a dynamic, hands-on workshop aimed at equipping students with practical skills in developing intelligent agent systems. The session was held on 9th August 2025 at the CCF Lab from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m., led by Ajoe Joseph, RSET alumnus (Batch of 2024) and Software Engineer.

CSI RSET SB conducted Hear It From Your Senior on August 17, 2025, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The session featured Mr. Kuriakose Mathew, RSET alumnus (Batch of 2017) and currently a Senior Research Engineer at Yahoo.

A 5‑day online Capture the Flag (CTF) competition to celebrate the 78th Independence Day. The event will engage participants in coding and cybersecurity challenges inspired by India’s freedom struggle and cultural heritage.

On October 18, 2024, CSI RSET SB hosted 'Frame by Frame', a hands-on video editing workshop led by Milan Joe Baby at Zuse Lab. Participants learned essential editing techniques, software tools, and creative tips, equipping them with foundational skills for producing high-quality digital content for projects and media platforms.

On October 4, 2024, as part of Homecoming Week 2.0, CSI RSET SB organized an offline C programming workshop, 'Mastering C', led by Savio Sunny of S7 AD. Designed for first-year students, the workshop covered essential programming concepts with hands-on exercises, helping participants build confidence and enhance their coding and problem-solving skills.

As part of Homecoming Week 2.0, the CSI RSET Student Branch hosted 'Hear It from Your Senior', an inspiring online event on September 21, 2024, featuring alumnus Ajoe Joseph. He shared his journey, tech industry experiences, and practical advice, inspiring first-year students as they began their engineering paths within the CSI RSET community.

As part of the Onam celebrations, CSI RSET Student Branch hosted 'Mavelikk Oru Portfolio', a creative design event that invited participants to craft a unique portfolio for Maveli, the legendary king. Open to students from all years and other colleges
